Transform boundry- where 2 plates slip past each other in opposite directions and crust is neither created nor destoryed (earthquakes occur here)
Divergent boundry- where 2 plates move apart (diverge) most occur on the mid ocean ridge resulting in a sea sloor spreading and new crust on land they form a deep valley called a rift drift.
Convergent boundry- where 2 plates come together (converge). result in collision. if 2 ociantic plates collide, subduction results. if oceanic and contential plates collide the oceanic plate subducts and volcanoes may form on the continent
